Service Description

Start learning Brazilian Portuguese from scratch in a relaxed, supportive group. No previous knowledge is necessary. We follow a course plan designed to build your foundations step by step, while adapting the pace when the group needs more time to understand and practise. What you’ll get: - Live, interactive lessons focused on understanding, practice and communication - All course materials provided: no textbook needed - Class notes shared in a Google Doc, with access throughout the course - A private Google Doc for homework, personal notes, questions and messages to your teacher - Homework after every session, corrected weekly before the following class What we'll work on: Over 10 weeks, we'll build the foundations for communicating in Brazilian Portuguese, including pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, everyday expressions and practical communication. Our goal is lasting, real-life Portuguese, with enjoyable sessions you finish with a smile. -- Dates & fees: Separate introductory session: Monday 5 October from 7pm for 1 hour · £5 Meet the teacher, learn more about the course and decide whether it’s right for you before committing. Official course start: Monday 12 October: "Children's Day in Brazil!" 5-session package: £125 (£25 per session) 10-session package: £200 (£20 per session) What you need No previous Portuguese required. You’ll need a good internet connection, webcam, microphone and a quiet place to participate comfortably. Minimum group size A minimum of 4 enrolments is required for the course to begin. If this minimum is not reached by 12 October, the start date may be postponed for up to two months. Once the course begins, all 10 sessions will run as scheduled, regardless of changes in group size. If you don't want to wait, you can use your payment as credit towards private Brazilian Portuguese lessons (£30/hour) or pair classes (£42 per student per hour), subject to availability. We cannot guarantee availability, but will do our best to accommodate you. At the end of the course, private lessons may be available as a next step, depending on availability. Have questions?
