Google Classroom Resources for Portuguese Learners

You may have noticed that I have not been sharing lots of new things here lately. The reason why that has happened is because I have been incredibly busy focusing on my current students' needs. As well as spending time exchanging messages and chatting on our WhatsApp Language Exchange Group, we have been working on creating a long list of extra resources for after class practice.

Messages

Another way to keep our communication up-to-date and a method I found to allow my students to give me offline feedback on how they are feeling about the overall course experience. That is also where they will find a long list of books, articles, short stories, films, series, Youtube channels, videos and music to enjoy and practise.

Exclusive Resources

Following my students' requests, I create or adapt activities for specific needs. Whether they have asked me for more audio / listening practice, more grammar or more reading exercises. You might find samples of some of these resources on previous posts on this blog.

As you can see above, we have Brazilian films, series, fables, a variety of exercises. However, I have to say that one of the most popular files has been "Conjugaçôes Verbais" [Verb Conjugation].

Games and Quizzes

Is it a lot more fun to learn by playing games? Using some online resources like Quizizz and Quizlet, I have made available flashcards and quizzes to help them take it all in.
